Beautiful colours in the northwestern late evening sky after sunset, from the top of the local hill.

Watching the slowly changing sky after sunset ties in with my understanding of being on a large [basically] spherical planet spinning about its axis, and being illuminated by the sun. There is a real sense of poetry that can be felt from the sky from the times just before sunset until after well after sunset when just about all illumination from the sun is gone from the sky.

It was amazing to see the glowing colours in the sky.
