This was drawn in Burnie. I was staying in an on-site caravan at the toime. The pollution being produced there was tolerated because of the employment provided by the large industries. Visually, these large industrial plants are very interesting.

I enjoyed the technique of applying thin ink and gouache washes over a black biro drawing on brown paper.
