Produced on-site, from the stone wall along the Esplanade at the end of Rockingham Street, West Beach. The bush on the right of this image was probably the largest bush in the local sand dune area, and it quickly became a bit of a landmark for me after moving to my new home in West Beach.

I enjoyed using this beach bush as a subject in several of my drawings and paintings. It was one of the few elements along the beach that could extend above the horizon.
