Here a bank of spectacular decaying cloud is illuminated from below by the setting sun.

The horizon here is actually a thin flat strip of land that is York Peninsula.

Spectacular swirls of clouds give this sunset a dramatic look.

This is the same sunset as that shown in the previous photograph, but about half an hour after that previous photograph was taken. Much of the swirling cloud has thinned out. The interesting cloud bank that was close to the horizon in the previous photograph seems to have now dissipated.
