The sun is low in the western sky. There are some interesting long straight banks of clouds low in the western sky. There is a strong reflection of the sun coming off the water below the sun. The water is fairly calm. There must not be much wind out on the water at this time.

I can see a ship slowly sailing south along the gulf.

The sun is largely obscured by one of the banks of cloud.

There is only a small amount of the sun showing above the horizon. The surface of the water looks quite glassy, even calmer than for the first photograph shown on this page, taken about 20 minutes earlier on the same day.

The sun has set in the western sky, but the conditions are able to throw a lot of red light up under the cloud forms in the distance. It looks stunning!
