This image uses different areas with different rules for the orientation of the applied elements. The different areas were applied using the mouse (an area was defined around the mouse position to apply a series of random shapes defined with their own parameters).

Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of these computer paintings. I find the bold 'strokes' and simple modelling often create a pleasing painterly look, that is more interesting and appealing than the look of the original photographs. I feel that there is a better sense of 'experiencing a real scene' coming through in these computer paintings.
