View of the Black Cliff Headland from The Sugarloaf

5,800 x 3,600 pixel digital image, produced from a photograph, using my abstract image computer program.

This scene contains a very wide range of tones, that have been compressed somewhat to fit within the possible tones and colours of the original photograph. The sweeping cone of The Sugarloaf is on the left side of this image. The Black Cliff Headland is on the right side of this image.

View of the Black Cliff Headland from The Sugarloaf 2

6,200 x 3,600 pixel digital image, produced from a photograph, using my abstract image computer program.

This is a very pleasing 'painted' version of the scene. Here, the Black Cliff Headland can be seen near the centre of the span of sea water. The base of the sweeping cone of The Sugarloaf can be seen at the lower right hand corner of this image.

Big Cliff, Hallett Cove
6,200 x 3,600 pixel digital image, produced from a photograph, using my abstract image computer program.

This image was based on the same photograph used for the previous image, but uses larger rectangles to create a flatter, more abstract image. This type of image was created for most of the other images used for this month's display.
