This was drawn directly from a female model in a life drawing session. The model gave this extremely difficult and unusual pose for about one minute. I think this pose is a ‘Yoga’ pose. Holding this pose for that long demanded a lot of strength and concentration. The drawing was only worked on during the same span of time that the model could maintain this pose. Hopefully, my drawing gives the viewer some sense of the effort, discipline and grace provided by the model in producing this unusual pose.
