Computer Kinetic Abstract 404b

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 27th June 2002

This is another abstract image that uses many lines that are coloured using an averaging colourmode, over a softly modulating background. The result is an image that looks like it is made up from many scratches.

Computer Kinetic Abstract 357b

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 12th June 2002

This is a highly worked abstract with many short lines and small rectangles, mostly using the colour averaging colourmode. The underlying composition with the large darker rectangles made me think of this abstract image as being part of Sydney Nolan’s “Ned Kelly” Series.

Computer Kinetic Abstract 295

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 10th May 2002

This abstract image, a combination of rectangles of various sizes and orientated at various angles, conveys an excellent sense of energy, and just felt very pleasing with the colours used.
