Computer Kinetic Abstract 25

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 12th April 2002

This image felt like a warm, pleasing arrangement of colours. It uses mainly circle elements applied using various colourmodes. A general arrangement was set up using largish circles coloured using red-biased random colours. Smaller circles were then applied where they would be coloured by calculating the average of the colours read from under the ‘four corners’ of their randomly generated positions, making blends between the colours applied during the general arrangement.

Computer Kinetic Abstract 27

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 12th April 2002

This abstract image uses a more finely blended background to that created for the previously presented abstract image, but also has a sprinkling of brightly coloured short lines and tiny dots that provide interest and contrast with the softly modulating background.

Computer Kinetic Abstract: Scratched No. 2

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 24th April 2002

This abstract image uses many lines that are coloured using an ‘averaging’ colourmode, over a softly modulating background. The result is an image that looks like it is made up from many scratches.
