Drawn on-site, from along the side of our house, looking towards our front yard.

There were lovely sunlit colours, rich reds from the dark red leaves being lit up from the back with sunlight, and an interesting shadow being cast onto the wall of our house. I added some colour to the shadow to try to suggest the movements that were occurring in the gentle breeze.

Standing a good distance behind the prunus were the large river red gums that lined our street.
