Drawn completely on-site (“en plein air”). This walkway above the beach was near where I was living at the time. I always enjoyed getting down to the beach. The air, the space, the sounds and the smells were always inspiring.

Grids and felt cross-sectional lines were used extensively throughout this drawing to efficiently express the main forms in the scene. I enjoyed drawing in a variety of forms in this view.
