This is the view seen just inside the start of the walk along under the cliffs at Witton Bluff, at Christies Beach. This drawing was carried out completely on-site (“en plein air”). The walk along under the cliffs was a favourite one of mine when I lived at Christies Beach.

In this drawing, I have applied imaginary grids over the pathway, the beach, the rock piles that lead down from the pathway to the beach, the slopes on the high side of the pathway, and the cliffs themselves.
