This was painted entirely on-site, at night, using a portable fluorescent light. It was an interesting experiment. It was painted from the road bridge that crosses the Torrens River near where it flows out into the sea. Instead of looking out to sea, this is the view looking back towards the city of Adelaide.

There are many interesting scenes at night, but they are quite difficult to capture.

I no longer have this painting. The image here was taken from a photograph taken of the painting before it was sold at my first exhibition.
