My wife and I enjoyed observing a pigeon raise its chick in one of the trees in our backyard. We were able to observe the nest reasonably well from one of the windows in our house. We were fascinated by the patience and dedication displayed by the mother. She would sit on the nest quietly for days on end, even with other bigger birds darting about close to her. These images were created to somehow record the event as well as the enjoyment I (we) felt.
