This path was followed from one of the entrances into the park. It leads across fairly flat ground to reach a protected ridge that extends around the top of The Amphitheatre. This flat ground and the protected ridge is the top of the park.

This area, at the top of the park, contains many small native trees and native grasses. The air here is already marvellous, dominated by the breezes coming in off the water!

These small brightly coloured native trees were on the edge of the scrub that lies just behind the top plateau of the park. The blue sea can be seen in the distance. This was seen while walking along one of best paths that lead into the park, after travelling to Hallett Cove Beach by train.
