Computer Kinetic Abstract 238

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 2nd May 2002

This abstract image only uses rectangles coloured either black or white that are aligned either vertically or horizontally. I could create some very striking images using this type of strategy. I particularly like the very fine black lines that result in this image, along with the overall asymmetrical arrangement.

Computer Kinetic Abstract 245

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 2nd May 2002

This abstract image uses only circles and a fairly limited palette of colours (resulting from the application of large circles that use a random greyscale ‘colourmode’ over a slightly modulated purple background, then applying many much smaller circles to the whole image that use a colour reversing colourmode - resulting in green circles over the purple background, etc.). This is a typical example of experimenting and just responding to how the results feel.

Computer Kinetic Abstract 156

800 pixels (w) x 600 pixels (h), computer ‘painting’ using my own ‘kinetic’ abstract computer program.
Date produced: 24th April 2002

This abstract image mainly uses rectangles that are aligned at any angle. The image uses only 3 colours, that indicate the ‘layered’ nature of the application of elements. I am pretty sure that this image used a saved state (of an image with just the two blues) to try a number of different applications of a top layer.
