In May 2004, my wife and I travelled overseas to South Korea and Japan. We started in Korea, then flew to Japan (starting in Sapporo, on Hokkaido Island).
We left for Sapporo's New Chitose airport in Japan, from Seoul's Incheon International Airport. At Incheon International Airport we waited in a queue of about 6 aircraft, each waiting for their turn to safely use the main runway in misty conditions. When we arrived at New Chitose airport, we were greeted by our friend, Makiko, who helped us travel into Sapporo to find a suitable hotel.
