73 cm x 53 cm, pastels and charcoal on acid-free paper.
Date produced: 2005, while living at North Adelaide (2005-2006).
This was started as a description of form and space, using accurately drawn boughs, coloured using an exaggerated aerial perspective. The overall tone was reasonably high. I was wanting to keep the drawing fairly open. I also wanted to describe the canopy as being like a hemisphere, tilted slightly towards the left, as the real canopy felt.
