This is a view out from the centre of the tree, along one of its main boughs. As a drawing, it looks a little like a beast or the back of a dinosaur. The tall webbing along the back of this bough looks to be providing an enormous amount of structural strength. One can only imagine the weight bearing on all of these huge boughs, many of which extend out mainly in a horizontal direction. A civil engineer who spent a little time at the tree informally suggested that a bough like this one might weigh something around 25 tons.
