This was drawn during a very cold spell in winter, but when the sunlight looked absolutely spectacular, when seen from inside, walking past one window in particular. In winter, the sun doesnt get very high in the sky, and can flood a scene like this with its light, without showing much shadowing. I drew this image from inside our home (in the warmth), looking out into our backyard. Ive tried to incorporate the influence of seeing the scene as I walk past the window inside, so walls become curved and stretched in places. It was a lot of fun.
